Good news for those who pre-ordered either an iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus or Apple Watch Series 3, order status date for shipping has changed from September 22nd to preparing for shipment.

Customers who pre-ordered either the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus or Apple Watch Series 3 on Friday, September 15th, might receive their order sooner than expected. The first set of pre-orders have changed to “preparing for shipment,” orders should start to ship out in the next 2-3 days.

Apple has planned to launch all new devices in-store and at carriers later this week. At this point, the Apple Watch Series 3 with LTE connectivity may have some shortages in-store and at wireless carriers, it seems several configurations of this model had sold out during pre-order, and the shipment dates are set for three weeks. As far as for the iPhone 8/ 8 Plus, no reports of delays or shortages have been reported, there should be no problem as far as availability in-store or at any carrier.
