Check Out The New HomeKit Compatible Device Called “Eve”

At this years CES, a company named Elgato added a new accessory to its lineup, called the Eve Button. Which is basically a small little Bluetooth device, that you can use for your Homekit lights.

The Eve Button is one of the company’s newest products that they have, that allows users to activate up to three HomeKit scenes without the need for a smartphone. Which would be perfect for if you forgot your smartphone in another room, or just so happen didn’t have it on you, and still wanted to control your HomeKit lights.

And due to its very simplistic design, all you have to do is just press a single button to switch it on, or tap twice to dim the lights, or you can do a slightly long press on it to switch it off. So it’s super easy to control your lights on or off, without ever having to fumble around with it.

Eve currently runs on a replaceable CR2032 battery, and requires an iOS Apple TV running a tvOS 11 or an iPhone/iPad running an iOS 11.2, that’s configured as a home hub. So if you have those particular specs or devices and plan to get them for the Eve Button, then you can be sure to check it out over at Elgato’s official website, where it will be available later this month for $49.95.

Get Detailed Forecast & Alerts With The Dark Sky App

Dark Sky is a weather app for the iPhone and iPad, that can tell you exactly when it will snow, thunderstorm, rain, etc, up to an hour in advance. It gives you constant alerts, updates and of course the forecast for each day of the week, to keep you prepared for whenever you go out.

Not only is the Dark Sky app a great app to see any of the weather predictions, it’s also really easy to use and maneuver around. Its layout is very unique but at the same time very easy to understand. However, you also have the ability to even add your very own custom notifications, that will alert you on any specific condition or element you want to know about in the next 24 hours.
