Photos App In iOS 10 And OS X 10.12 Rumored To Get Big Improvements
iOS 10 is something that many folks are looking forward to, as well as OS X 10.12. Well, a new rumor notes that the Photos app will gain significant improvements when the two new operating systems drop for iOS and Mac devices this Fall.
Mac Otakara recently reported that Apple is working on enhancing the Photos app for OS X 10.12 and iOS 10, and claims that the company will re-introduce some of the features that were previously found in iPhoto for Mac and iOS. This includes the ability to edit EXIF information and features to manipulate only specific parts of an image.
Furthermore, the company had replaced its iPhoto app in iOS with Photos in 2014 before the app made its debut on OS X in early 2015. Moreover, the replacement Photo app brings little in terms of advanced functionality and features, which now looks like the company plans to re-introduce gradually.
Looking back some, another report related to OS X 10.12 pointed to Apple bringing Siri to OS X, which is said to be among the headline features for the upcoming version of the OS. Siri on OS X will be able to help users adjust system settings, open apps and do much more.
Apple is expected to introduce iOS 10 and OS X 10.12 at WWDC in June of this year, which will be released to the public sometime during the Fall.
