Pegasus Tweak Brings Picture In Picture Mode To All iOS 9 Devices
When iOS 9 came out, folks could watch a video or do a FaceTime call while doing something else on their iPad. Well, folks can do the same thing with a new jailbreak tweak called Pegasus for iOS 9 devices.
The new iPads running iOS 9 feature a handy Picture in Picture mode. Sadly, older models prior to the iPad Air or iPhone and iPod Touch can’t access this feature. However, if you’re jailbroken on iOS 9, folks will be able to make use of this feature.
A new jailbreak tweak named Pegasus allows folks to use Picture in Picture mode on any iOS 9 compatible device. You will be able to multitask while watching a video. As of now, FaceTime doesn’t work, but the feature will be added soon by the developer.
The tweak works almost like the real thing, which is pretty cool. In addition, once you get it you won’t have to configure the tweak, since it doesn’t have an options list to configure.
When you start using it, you will be given a Picture in Picture button next to the pause button on the video. Simply tap on the button to detach the video from the app and you can open other apps while continuing to watch the video. You can also move the video around and resize it, or hide it by moving it to the edge of the screen.
In addition, you can also tap on the video with two fingers or press the Home button, while watching the video in full-screen mode, to detach it. Double tap on the video again to re-attach it. If this tweak sounds handy, you can get Pegasus in the BigBoss repo for $2.99.
