Has your Home Button stop working correctly, or does it work on and off? If so, iOS 9 users with a jailbroken device will be able to use the new tweak SPTouch as a virtual Home button on their iPhone.

SPTouch for iOS 9 is a new jailbreak tweak that adds a virtual Home button to your iOS 9 device. Just like Assistive Touch, SPTouch also adds a new button to your iPhone screen that stands as a virtual Home button. This means that with one or two taps on the new button, you can simulate the same actions that the actual Home button triggers.

In addition, the button can be dragged around freely on the screen, and only needs a single tap to take you back to the Home screen, while a double tap brings you to the App Switcher.

You can also customize the virtual Home button tweak, which also comes with a customizable preference panel in Settings. This allows you to adjust the size of the virtual button and its transparency, disable it on the Lock screen, add a border to the button and much more.

Something worth noting, not many users like the appearance of the tweak’s button since it doesn’t look native, which is true. But, besides the appearance of the virtual button, many enjoy the mechanics of the tweak.

You can get this jailbreak tweak SPTouch for free in Cydia’s BigBoss repo.
