If you are the type of person that has a schedule or routine during your day and you don’t want any of your daily steps to be ruined by a buzz or a call, we have just the thing for you. In this guide, we will teach you how to set-up and schedule Do Not Disturb mode on your iPhone. This method will ensure that users will get the most out of any moment without any calls or noise going off.
In addition, Do Not Disturb silences all incoming calls and alerts. However, folks can also schedule this handy feature to be active during certain times of the day. You can set this mode to be active when you’re sleeping so that no calls, or buzzing won’t disturb you. Moreover, you can also view your notifications later, which makes this feature very handy.
Here’s How To Schedule Do Not Disturb On Your iPhone:
Step 1: Head to settings > Do Not Disturb on your iPhone
Step 2: Turn the Scheduled button to ON
Step 3: Select quiet hours for Do Not Disturb mode
Step 4: After step three, select when to be disturbed when Do Not Disturb is on:
- Allow Calls From – This feature allows calls from everyone, your favorites or specific contact groups stored on your device or your iCloud account.
- Repeat Calls – If a person calls you twice within three minutes, the call won’t be silenced.
- Silence – Choose to silence calls and notifications always or only when the device is locked.
Now your iOS device will not automatically enter and exit Do Not Disturb mode at the same time every day. When a device is in Do Not Disturb mode, a moon icon will be displayed on your iOS device’s status bar at the top of the screen.
To manually turn Do Not Disturb mode on or off, turn the Schedule button to OFF and set Manual to the ON/OFF position to enable/disable the feature. You can also swipe up from the bottom of your screen to open the Control Center, and then tap the crescent moon icon. Manually entering and exiting won’t change your set scheduling times and options. Lastly, you can do all of the above on any iOS device like the iPad or the iPod Touch.
