How to disable suggested contacts on iOS and Mac
Smart technologies Apple built into iOS 9 and El Capitan, collectively referred to as Proactive, can conveniently suggest contacts from people found in Mail and use them to great effect in several places.
Incoming call from an unknown number? If Proactive has managed to sniff it out in an email, it’ll guess who might be calling and put that info right on the calling screen.
