Today’s iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch free apps daily include a note taking app, fish flinging game, ambient sounds app, and interactive kids app. A number of apps drop from paid to free on a daily basis*, and we pick the top four everyday, as many of the others aren’t worth your time even for free. Everyday we try to pick apps that are worth spending money on, but are now free to download, and here they are.
*Price drops are temporary, and usually last for just 24 hours, so be quick to download.
Mostnote ($0.99 -> Free, Universal): A note taking app that offers a streamlined design to quickly add text and photos. You can categorize and sort your notes for easy viewing later on. There’s also a clean view when looking at individual notes with lists, and in-line photos.
Fish Out Of Water ($0.99 -> Free, Universal) [Review]: The game is all about slinging fish as far as you can in an endless launching game. Fish Out Of Water is perfect for pick up, and play as you simply grab a fish, and then slide your finger across the screen to launch it forward. The power, and trajectory of the fish toss is based on how you slide your finger. There are multiple fish types with their own special abilities as you try to maximize distance, and skips.
Peace ($0.99 -> Free, Universal): An ambient sounds app that offers rain, fireplace, ocean waves, streams, wind, thunder, animals, bells, and more. You can activate individual sounds, and adjust a slider to dictate their respective volume. There are also preset sound channels for certain situations.
Sago Mini Road Trip ($2.99 -> Free, Universal): A kids app that is all about driving around town, and having fun. There are ten different vehicles to drive around with six destinations to travel to. The app is designed for ages 2-5, and there are no time limits or levels, and just driving, car washing, and fueling.
