Expect Future iPhones With TrueDepth Cameras To Have Larger Batteries
KGI Securities analysts Ming-Chi Kuo predicts that the future iPhone for 2019 and later will require larger power batteries to operate the iPhone.
According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, he believes that Apple’s future iPhone will have the latest updated technology to develop a larger capacity battery for the iPhone to accommodate an upgraded 3-D sensing, AR-related function, as well as the TrueDepth camera technology.
Kuo went on to state that the future iPhone could include an L shaped battery very similar to the iPhone X’s battery, and could also provide up to 10% more capacity, which should provide a little longer battery life. He also went on to state that he predicts Apple will have three iPhone models next year that will include a TrueDepth camera on all three models, a new 5.8-inch iPhone X, a larger 6.5-inch model that some are calling the iPhone X Plus, which Kuo believes will retain its two-cell battery design, and a new 6.1-inch mid-range iPhone with an LCD display.
