Get in the holiday spirit with Christmas advent calendar apps

Maybe you remember how exciting it was as a kid to open that little door each day on the advent calendar. Or, perhaps you have one in your house each year at Christmas time for your own kids. Well now, you can enjoy the same holiday tradition on your mobile device with a couple of nifty advent calendar apps.

For creating your own advent calendar

Advent App from Traumtraum UG is a new way to enjoy opening those doors. You can create and share your own advent calendar with some really flexible options. To begin, you just select the date on the calendar and then add a neat surprise. You can enter text to display a sweet holiday message, add a photo of something cute, choose a cool YouTube video, or pick out a silly GIF.

Advent AppYou can edit your calendar at any time, which is nice because you do not have to complete the whole thing before Dec. 1. Sending your calendar to a friend or family member is as simple as entering their email address. You can create and view calendars for free, but sending them to others will require an in-app purchase per calendar of $0.99 and includes unlimited sending.
