It seems as if Apple will open its largest Florida-based Apple Store sometime later this year. According to a new report, Apple has signed a lease with Miami’s Brickell City Center to open a new store within the mall.
Sources have informed The Real Deal, that the new Apple Store location has been planned to open this fall, along with 75 other stores and restaurants, two condominium towers, two Class A office buildings and an EAST, Miami hotel. The entire center will be cooled off by a climate ribbon instead of an AC. The climate ribbon has been designed to block rain, while concentrating breezes throughout the retail area.
The 500,000 square foot mall will feature five levels of retail. It has been indicated that high-end luxury stores will be located on the first floor, while contemporary retailers will be found on the second and third floors. A movie theater will be on the fourth floor, and a garden is said to be on the fifth floor.
The new store might be opened in time for the launch of Apple’s highly anticipated iPhone 7, which could help increase the phone’s sells.
