iOS 10 1

Apple released the first public beta of iOS 10.2, which includes new and updated emoji, new wallpapers, an option for saving camera settings, and more.

The company released iOS 10.2 to public beta testers yesterday, the update address some bugs and adds new features. For those who are big on emoji, Apple has given them a new look and released new ones. Some of the new emoji include, a clown, butterfly, shark, a selfie emoji, a palm face emoji, and both male and female emoji in different professions. The remodeled emoji now look a little more “realistic” compared to the current cartoon emoji thanks to the added detail.

Apple first released iOS 10.2 beta for developers on Monday, and then the beta for public beta testers on Tuesday. This could be the company’s way to make sure serious bugs are addresses before the iOS beta is released to the public.

Those who are a public beta tester can update over the air (OTA) but it’s best to back up the device before installing it.
