Apple Launches New Consumer-Facing Privacy Site
Apple on Wednesday launched their revamped privacy site designed to make the company’s privacy privacy policies more accessible and understandable to consumers.

And so much of your personal information — information you have a right to keep private — lives on your Apple devices.
Your heart rate after a run. Which news stories you read first. Where you bought your last coffee. What websites you visit. Who you call, email, or message.
Every Apple product is designed from the ground up to protect that information. And to empower you to choose what you share and with whom.
We’ve proved time and again that great experiences don’t have to come at the expense of your privacy and security. Instead, they can support them.
The new site offers consumers examples of the device maker’s commitment to privacy, helping to explain how the company uses encryption, Differential Privacy, and app development guidelines strictly followed by developers, to protect the users’ privacy.
A section on the site, entitled: “This is how we protect your privacy,” includes detailed information about the company’s apps and their features, and includes privacy-related information about encryption, Apple Pay, iMessage and FaceTime, Health and Fitness, Analytics, Safari, iCloud, CarPlay, iCloud, Education Privacy, Photos, Siri, Dictation, Health and Fitness on HealthKit, and much more.
The site also includes an informative section laying out how consumers can better manage their privacy while using the firm’s devices and services. The section contains information on how to secure devices with a passcode and Touch ID, using a strong password with an Apple ID, two-factor authentication, phishing schemes, and more.
