Apple Expected To Launch New AirPods In Mid To Late 2018

According to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is expected to debut an improved AirPods design sometime in mid to late part of 2018.

During a recent investors meeting, security analyst Ming-Chi Kuo addressed the attendees with information that Apple could launch an upgraded AirPods which could sport a smaller quartz component. Kuo believes this could launch sometime in either mid-part or late 2018. He went on to say he believes that the AirPods shipment will grow by 100%, increasing to 28 million in a year,  which will further benefit both Unitech and Compeq in its business growth.

Kuo went on to say that the Taiwanese supplier Inventec, will continue to assemble the new AirPods, along with four other Taiwanese companies- TXC, HLJ, Compeq, and Unitech which will assist in supplying individual components for the AirPods.

Apple could also release a new inductive AirPods charging case that would enable the wireless earphones to be charged with its new AirPower charging mat, which is supposed to debut along with the upgraded AirPods.
