New footage shows just how close Apple is to completing its new campus. After the campus is completely built, it will be known as one of the world’s largest office building.
The most recent video comes from Sexton Videography which shows the main campus building’s roof 90 percent complete. The roof is covered in solar panels which will allow the campus to run on renewable energy.
The glass panes used on the “spaceship” were custom-made in Germany and is considered the largest glass panes in the world.
The video shows landscaping is currently in progress, while most of the surrounding area is mainly dirt, Apple plans to cover the space with greens and different fruit trees. The campus will also feature a fountain, and an outdoor eating area.
The main parking structure looks to be complete and will be able to hold 20,000 cars once it’s fully operating.
To keep its employees fit, Apple will have a bike trail and a 100,000 sqft fitness center exclusively for its employees.
Apple had originally planned to have its “spaceship” completed by the end of 2016, but announced on its website that it won’t be complete until the first quarter of 2017.
