A few days ago, news broke that Walmart will be added to the list of retailers carrying the Apple Watch. The mega retailer will begin selling Apple Watch Sport in 38mm and 42mm in either Silver or Space Gray.
At the moment, Walmart won’t carry the Watch in stores, so if you’re thinking about purchasing one you’ll have to do it through their website. However, Walmart does offer free shipping over $50 and an option to have items shipped to a store for local pickup.
The Apple Watch will be priced at its retail price of $349-$399. Walmart will also sell Apple Watch Sport bands in a variety of colors starting at $49, as well as Apple Watch Magnetic Charging cables for $29-$39.
Other retailers such as, Best Buy, B&H, Target and a few others have already dropped the price of the Apple Watch by taking up to $100 off the asking price. This move has many speculating that Apple may be getting ready to make room for the Apple Watch 2, which might be released in March or April of next year.
Apple has been tight-lipped on the exact number of Apple Watches sold, but with Walmart being added to the list of retailers selling the Watch, the numbers may begin to increase. If you’re interested in purchasing the Apple Watch from Walmart you can visit their official website for more details.
