In recent news, Campus 2 progress has been updated in a new flyover video, which is to be completed in the late part of next year, giving the company 12 months to finish up construction to stay on schedule. Apple’s construction crews have been hard at work over the past few months, making a lot of progress on the main ring-shaped building, the underground auditorium and the parking main structure.
In addition, four levels of the second Campus have been completed along with the walls, and it is noted that the specially curved glass windows that will encircle the building will go up soon. Moreover, with no reports of casualties, the second Campus should be on schedule to open sometime in late 2016 or early 2017.
Furthermore, this new video by Duncan Sinfield shows us the most recent progress of Campus 2. The video also shows us the Tantau development, a set of additional buildings that will serve as research and development facilities.
You can watch the latest Campus 2 flyover update, as seen below.
Once the project is completed, Campus 2 will feature several parking structures, a 100,000 square foot fitness center, a 120,00 square foot auditorium, and a visitor’s center with an Apple Store in it, and much more.
