After Apple posted iOS 9.2, the second major update to El Capitan and the latest update for the Apple Watch, the company released another update for the Apple TV. The new tvOS 9.1 comes with a build number of 13U85, and brings list of bug fixes.
Apple recently seeded tvOS 9.1 to all fourth-generation Apple TV users. The latest update features bug fixes, Siri search support for Apple Music, improvements to networking and scrolling and more.
In addition, Apple’s own Remote app now works with the Apple TV 4, as well as Siri working with Apple Music, meaning you can tell your box to play certain songs and more.
How To Update To tvOS 9.1:
Depending on your settings, your box should automatically prompt you to install the download update, or it should auto install the update without the users having to do anything. If you want to update it manually, you will need to go to System > Software Updates > Update Software on your device and you should be able to update your device.
