After Apple released the first beta of iOS 9.2.1 to developers yesterday, the company seeded the latest version of OS X El Capitan 10.11.3 beta 1 to members of the Apple Development Program.
The first beta that eventually became El Capitan’s third major software update since its October 2015 arrival holds a build number of 15D9c, and is available as a standalone download through Apple’s portal for developers or through the Mac App Store’s update tab for Macs signed into the beta program.
Moreover, the release note that arrived with this update states that this pre-released edition of the OS X El Capitan 10.11.3 software update will improve stability, compatibility and security of your Mac. However, the note didn’t detail any new features or enhancements in the latest beta build for OS X El Capitan.
And lastly, as a reminder, OS X El Capitan 10.11.2 was released for public consumption nearly two-week ago.
